past Memories

We receive many comments from former players with memories of their time in the Band. This page is being started by way of keeping a connection with those players. Any contributions would be welcome.

First up is a selection of Photos from Australia, courtesy of George and Margaret Trehane. This is Bugle competition 1967 when St. Pinnock won the C section with Air Varie Hollingside and their own choice march, Glemden, and then went on to compete in the B section with Eric Ball's, A Holiday Suite and the March Glemdene, this time coming 2nd in the main piece and 3rd in the march. The late great Joe Armstrong was conducting. A great day!
George is the player without the hat as he had just come home on leave and the band couldn't find a spare....some things never change.
