Band Engagements 2012
Friday 3rd Feb 7.30pm Show case concert St. James Church Torpoint
The year kicks off with a concert at St. James Church Torpoint. Always a good venue for a concert and we hope to put on a good show in the run up to the area contests.
This year sees the 2nd section playing "Cross Patonce" by Goff Richards. Written for the North West open Champioships in 1990, the name is the heraldic cross which forms the Pilkington company's logo. The official sponsors of that competition. Goff sadly died this year and the piece was selected as a tribute to the great contribution he made over his life time to the Brass Band movement.

Saturday May 5th West Looe May Fair and Piccy Tree Dance 10.30am
Come and dance the Piccy Tree dance through the streets of East Looe, in the towns own equivalent of the Flora Dance.

Saturday 1st September Exmouth Entertainment Contest, all Day
A day long extravaganza of banding, with Brass Bands from all over the South West, representing all sections, doing battle to be crowned the Most Entertaining Band of the Day
Saturday 12TH May Lanlivery Feast Day, Flora and concert 3-5pm
Sunday 17th June Padstow Band Stand afternoon and evening
Come and listen to the Band in the atmospheric Cornish fishing port of Padstow. An evening and afternoon performance.
Saturday 3rd November South West Brass Band Association annual championships
Sunday 11th November Remembrance parade Looe 10.30
Several Hundred people will attend this moving waterside memorial service in memory of those service men and women from Looe who died in the service of this country so that we may Live in freedom.

Tuesday 6th March Precontest open rehearsal/concert Coads Green Village Hall 8.00 pm- 9.30
A precontest run through in front of a live audience at the Village hall Coads Green.
Saturday 8th Dec Coads Green Christmas Concert 7.30pm
Lanlivery Feast day, a flora through the village followed by a concert to accompany the village sportsday, and pantomine.

An excellent beer garden for a Band concert, with good food, and covered gardens. Fun For all the family
Wednesday 18th July Concert Lostwithiel Church 8pm
This is an excellent well supported concert at Lostwithiel Church with Wadebridge Male voice choir as part of Lostwithiel Carnival week.

Saturday 11th August Golant concert, carnival and Flora. 6.30 start
Help the happy villagers of Golant celebrate their Carnival with a concert, flora and carnival all in one afternoon.
Monday 20th August Fowey Regatta Flora Dance 7pm
One of the Best Floras of the season is the Fowey Regatta. Join us on a merry gamble through the streets of Fowey. P.s. its a long one!

Monday 27th August Polruan Carnival, Regatta and Flora.
Polruan day is one of the highlights of the year, with a day long round of Parades, concerts, Carnival and Flora. With the whole village in party mood, there is lots to see and do. The Band spends the day marching up impossible inclines and reducing small children to tears when judging the fancy dress!
