One of the all time classic test pieces, Resurgam is the challenge for the Band today. After weeks of hard work, the ranking of the Band in the National tables will be decided by 15 minutes on stage, but what a great piece of music to work on.

This is an excellent well supported concert at Lostwithiel Church with Wadebridge Male voice choir as part of Lostwithiel Carnival week.

The annual Flora through Looe
Help the happy villagers of Golant celebrate their Carnival with a concert, flora and carnival all in one afternoon.
Several Hundred people will attend this moving waterside memorial service in memory of those service men and women from Looe who died in the service of this country so that we may Live in freedom.
The Churches of Looe put on a tremendous show as the three processions walk in from three points around Looe carrying huge lantern models.

Monday 29th August Polruan Carnival, Regatta and Flora.
Polruan day is one of the highlights of the year, with a day long round of Parades, concerts, Carnival and Flora. With the whole village in party mood, there is lots to see and do. The Band spends the day marching up impossible inclines and reducing small children to tears when judging the fancy dress!

One of the Best Floras of the season is the Fowey Regatta. Join us on a merry gamble through the streets of Fowey. P.s. its a long one!

Saturday 5th November South West Brass Band Association annual championships
This year the classic organ piece, suite Gothic will be challenging the Band. In what promises to be a hotly contested local contest. In Torquay, at the Riviera conference centre, all day fireworks!
Tuesday 1st November 8pm. Precontest open rehearsal and concert. Coads Green Village hall.
Warm up session for the big day on Saturday. We received a warm welcome last year and look forward to a successful evening this year.

Sunday 11th March Area championships, Torquay all day
This year sees the 2nd section playing "Cross Patonce" by Goff Richards. Written for the North West open Champioships in 1990, the name is the heraldic cross which forms the Pilkington company's logo. The official sponsors of that competition. Goff sadly dies this year and the piece was selected as a tribute to great contribution he made over his life time to the Brass Band movement.
